Kueh Kaswi In The House

Morning everybody...Ehee...it seem this is 1st time cik payung write entry in the morning?!!..excuse me...dont be childish ok..This is 1st time i greeting use word 'morning' instead..hehehehe...

Small matter..here still morning, but my lovely country alrdy midday..everyone looking for taking their lunch..but i'm still cracking my head ...bcouse still can't decide what should i cook for today...

Kueh Kaswi

Bahan2
1 cawan gula pasir
1 ketul besar gula melaka/1cawan gula merah
5 cawan air
1 1/2 cawan tepung gandum
1/2 cawan tepung ubi
1/2 cawan tepung beras
1 sudu makan air kapur
1 sudu makan coklat paste / kicap makan
kelapa parut + garam
Daun pandan

Cara2nya
1.Gunakan 2 cawan air utk memasak gula pasir,gula melaka dan daun pandan.masak hingga larut.
2.Ayak semua tepung.
3.Tambah selebih air kedalam bancuhan air gula.Masukkan air kapur,coklat paste / kicap.Kacau sebati.
4.Tapis air gula kedalam tepung.Gaul rata.Kacau diatas api sederhana tapi jangan sampai berkanci.(saya masukkan semua ke dalam blender).
5.Masukkan ke dalam loyang dan kukus selama 45 minit.
6.Sejukkan kuih barulah potong.
7.Potong kuih dan golekkan ke dalam kelapa yang diparut.

Pssst...kelapa parut mmg susah nak dapat di sini..jadi apabila membeli kelapa parut..saya akan frozenkan ia.Cara mahu guna kelapa parut yg difrozen.Keluarkan jumlah kelapa yg mahu digunakan.Masukka dalam satu bekas.Kukus lebih kurang 10 minit.Jangan sampai hangit.

Asam Pedas Ayam

Salam rabu semua...dalam news meletop2 orang bercakap pasal skandal seks DSAI..cik payung baca online newspaper ok..even ddk jauh beribu batu tetap nak ambik tahu pasal negara tercintaku ini.Pada pendapat cik payung kan..kita berbalik pada al-quran dan sunnah...orang yg menyebarkan keaiban orang mesti dihukum..jika terbukti pelakunya membuat kerja tak senonoh tu lagi wajib dihukum..tak perlula parti politik ni bertegang leher..sama2 melayu nak menjatuhkan melayu..seharusnya sama2 mengerah idea dan tenaga memajukan umat & bangsa..tak gitu?!..(amacam, rasa2 cik payung dah boleh bertanding merebut kerusi dalam parlimen tak??..hahaha)

Sudah..jangan nak berangan!!Kerusi kat dapur pun tunggang langgang lagi tu...Jom la check apa cik payung masak ari ni...

Asam Pedas Ayam
Bahan2nya
- 6 biji bawang merah*
- 4 biji bawang putih*
- 1/2 inci halia*
- 1/2 inci belacan*
- ayam setengah ekor dipotong sederhana
- 1 cawan cili blend
- 1sudu besar asam jawa paste
- 2 cawan air
- 1 kuntum bunga kantan dibelah 4 tapi tidak putus
- 1 gengam daun kesum
- 1 batang serai
- 5 batang bendi
- garam secukup rasa
- minyak utk menumis

Cara2nya
1.Tumbuk bawang merah, bawang putih, halia dan belacan.(resepi asal diblend).
2.Panaskan minyak.Tumis bahan tumbuk dengan serai serta cili blend hingga garing.Masukkan air asam jawa dan sedikit air.Gaul sebati.
3.Masukkan ayam kedalam kuali.Masukkan bunga kantan, daun kesum.tutup kuali dgn penutup sehingga ayam masak.Tambah air jika perlu.
4.Masukkan pula bendi.Rasakan dengan garam.Matikan api sehingga mendapat kepekatan kuah yg dikehendaki.

HOW MUCH RADIATION IS DANGEROUS?

Radiation levels remained a huge worry in Japan on Sunday following a spike in radioactivity in water at the Fukushima nuclear power facility.

But there has been no indication that people beyond the plant's immediate vicinity have been exposed to harmful doses.

Operator Tokyo Electric Power Co said radiation levels were over 1,000 millisieverts per hour at Reactor No. 2 and evacuated workers from the turbine building there. Japan's nuclear safety agency has said that as emergency workers, they are allowed to be exposed to 250 millisieverts per year.

Experts say the rise in radioactivity in the water at the reactor does not pose much danger to those outside as long as it is contained safely.

"It depends on where this water's going and what they're doing with it," said Murray Jennex, professor at San Diego State University. "If it's allowed to run off into the ground and stuff, you're getting a concentration in the ground. If it's going into the ocean, you're getting some accumulation in the ocean."

Here are some facts about radiation and the health dangers it poses:

* Radiation is measured using the unit sievert, which quantifies the amount absorbed by human tissues. One sievert is 1,000 millisieverts and 1 million microsieverts.

* People are constantly exposed to some level of natural radiation. They also get exposed to tiny amounts through sitting in airplanes, routine chest or dental x-rays, and larger amounts through medical tests such as CT-scans and MRIs. A single-organ CT scan, for example, gives a radiation dose of about 6,900 microsieverts.

* On Sunday afternoon, radiation levels in central Tokyo were around 0.16 microsieverts per hour. That is a level experts describe as minimal, and just below the global average of naturally occurring background radiation of 0.17-0.39 per hour, a range given by the World Nuclear Association. It is also significantly lower than the cosmic radiation of up to 7 microsieverts per hour experienced on a Tokyo-New York flight.

Below are different levels of massive radiation exposure in a single dose -- all measured in millisieverts -- and their likely effects on humans, as published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency:

- 50-100: changes in blood chemistry

- 500: nausea, within hours

- 700: vomiting

- 750: hair loss, within 2-3 weeks

- 900: diarrhoea

- 1,000: haemorrhage

- 4,000: possible death within 2 months, if no treatment

- 10,000: destruction of intestinal lining, internal bleeding and death within 1-2 weeks

- 20,000: damage to the central nervous system and loss of consciousness within minutes, and death within hours or days

Ikan Talapia Masak Merah & Sayur Goreng

Salam semua...cik payung baru balik dr ambik Miss Pinky I dr sekolah..dan baru nak menjamah makanan ni...Aritu beli ikan talapia kat carefour teringin nak buat masak lemak cili api..Tapi bila terfikir asyik makan yg bersantan je..tak bagus utk kesihatan kan...So Cik Payung buat sambal je la...Masalahnya tetap sama..ikan kena goreng gak dulu..goreng pun tak sihat gak kan..adoiii..layan je la...:P

Ikan Talapia Masak Merah


Bahan2nya
- seekor ikan talapia,
- 20 tangkai cili kering
- 6 biji bawang merah
- 5 biji bawang putih
- air asam jawa
- gula & garam secukup rasa

Caranya
- Ikan talapia dibersihkan, dilumur garam & kunyit kemudian goreng garing2 dan ketepikan.Dalam kuali yg berasingan panaskan minyak.Tumis bawang merah dan bawang putih yg diblend hingga naik bau.Kemudian masukkan cili blend.Masakkan cili hingga pecah minyak.Masukkan air asam jawa.Tambah air jika perlu.Serasikan gula dan garam.Tuangkan cili yg sudah masak ke atas ikan talapia tadi.



Kuchai,taugeh dan tauhu goreng


Sebenarnya ni kali pertama Cik Payung beli daun kuchai ni..biasa kalau pergi bahagian sayur2an tu macam takde nafsu je kat daun kuchai ni..Entah kenapa tiba2 nak beli.Tapi bila masak..sedap je bau daun kuchai ni kan..rugi selama ni agak sombong nak beli sayur ni..hehehe..Jom la check resepi...

Bahan2
- 1 labu bawang besar dihiris
- 3 biji bawang putih dihiris
- tauhu
- cili merah
- daun kuchai
- tauhgeh dibuang akarnya
- garam secukup rasa

Cara2nya
- panaskan minyak..tumiskan bawang besar dan bawang putih..Masukkan tauhu yg dipotong dadu..Biarkan seketika..Kacau sekali sekala dengan hati2 kerana tauhu mudah pecah..Apabila nampak tauhu sedikit masak ,sekitar tauhu sudah kekuning kuningan masukkan daun kuchai, cili dan taugeh.Tutup kuali dengan penutup.tunggu seketika.Rasakan dengan garam.selepas 2 minit bolehla  tutupkan api.

Monday Blues...

Salam monday my dear readers..Monday blues??why those people hv no work motivation plus mood down due take long holiday on saturday and sunday...how to over come the hard feeling whilst monday morning approches us..??ermmm..let me study the sindrom later yea..:P

Okay...can we put aside the monday blues a moment... a day was change to a night still monday bluess huh??ish3x..then we can call every day is day blues ecept saturday & sunday..hehehehhe

Today cik payung not so bz at my office aka kitchen..why??so many left over foodies like ikan bilis petai & ikan stim  yesterday dishes..andddd..mee curry on saturday...actually the noodle was finish or pak arab call 'khalas'..i thought i should replace a spagetti noodle instead of mee kuning that we brought running out of stock..the taste not disappointed us and recommended...

Ikan Bilis Petai & Ikan kukus

Salam ahad semua..few day before cik payung mentioned projek ubi kayu kan…adoiyai..buat kueh talam ubi..lupa pulak nak snap gambar..takpe..yg itu 1st attempt..next time buat boleh tepek gambarnya kat blog pulak..

Hari ni..cik payung masak simple2 aje..sebenarnya mmg hari2 masak simple2 …hehehhe..Jomla layan menu kami hari ni..

Ikan Bilis Petai



Bahan2nya
-         ikan bilis di goreng
-         petai secukupnya
-         tempe (baki tempe yg ada)
-         15 tangkai cili kering*
-         4 biji bawang merah*
-         3 biji bawang putih*
-         ½ cawan santan tin
-         1 cawan air
-         Gula dan garam secukup rasa
-         Minyak utk menumis

Cara2nya
 - Blend cili kering dan semua bawang sekali.Panaskan minyak utk menumis.Masukkan cili blend ke dalam minyak yg sudah panas, tunggu sehingga pecah minyak.Apabila cili sudah masak, masukkan ikan bilis yg sudah digoreng, petai dan tempe yg juga sudah digoreng..kacau sehingga semua kena pada cili.Kemudian boleh masukkan santan bersama air.Tunggu sehingga kuah mendidih barulah masukkan gula dan garam.Garam hendaklah diletak dalam kuantiti yg sedikit dr biasa kerana air ikan bilis akan turun kedalam kuah.Siap utk dihidang.

Ikan Kembung Kukus


Resepi ni juga sesuai di buat singgang..tapi cik payung teringin nak makan yg kukus punya..resepi ala2 diet dan berkhasiat gitu...:)

Bahan2nya
- Ikan kembung dicuci dan ditoskan
- 1 biji bawang besar dihiris nipis
- 4 biji bawang putih dihiris
- 1 batang serai diketuk
- 3/4 cili merah dibelah dua
- 1/2 biji tomato dibelah 2
- bendi
- 1 cawan air
- garam secukup rasa
- stok ikan bilis knor

Cara2nya
- Panaskan periuk kukus.Dalam satu bekas, satukan kesemua bahan diatas kecuali tomato dan bendi.Masukkan dalam periuk kukus, kukus selama 30 minit.10 minit sebelum padamkan api bolehlah masukkan tomato dan bendi.Sedia utk dihidang.

Udang Masak Lemak dgn Timun


Hai semua..rasanya 2 hari tak update blog..cik payung gi shopping barang2 dapur..sampai 2 hari lak tu..1st day pergi mall lain..2nd day pergi mall lain pulak..sbb ada barang yg takde kat mall yg pertama tu..contohnya..biasa beli beras siam yg ada tulis perkataan ‘BERAS  WANGI’..nak jugak yg ada tulisan melayu..hehehhe..Bukan apa..yg ni mmg kena dengan tekak kami seisi keluarga..product of Thailand..kalau beli beras lain tu ada je yg tak kena..melekit mcm pulut la..kering sgt la..senang stick je kat satu brand ni kan

Ok la..layan apa yg cik payung masak hari ni..




  Udang masak lemak dgn timun

Biasanya orang masak udang dgn kacang panjang kan..tapi cik payung ubah sikit letak timun..timun ni letak masa 2 minit sebelum nak tutup api..jadi timun tu masih rasa krup krap sikit..takde la lembik sgt..





Tempe,kacang & bilis goreng kering

Tempe ni dapat kat satu2nya kedai runcit indonesia kat sini..beli masa panas2 lagi..Hajat dihati nak beli daun pandan..tapi dah abis..Kena call wak ni dulu sebelum datang kedai dia..kalau tak jadi la mcm ni..sampai2 barang banyak dah tak de..Resepi ni kena goreng ke semuanya dahulu.(tempe,ikan bilis,kacang tanah).Lepas tu tumis cili blend macam nak buat sambal..dah pecah minyak masukkan kesemuanya..kacau hingga sambal kering.

Resepi secara detail lain kali la letak ye..cik payung ada projek ubi kayu la kejap lagi..hehehhe..Esok pulak ada jemputan dr kawan malaysian kat rumah dia....tu yg ingat nak buat sikit kuih..kalau rajin sikit..tambah menu berat untuk dibawa ke sana...ngeee...

Cucur Badak, Keropok Ganu + Air Teh Paneh..

Selepas mendapat kekuatan luar biasa tadi..terus masuk dapor selongkar nak buat minum petang..sebenarnya nak makan lunch tadi utk 2nd round..tapi rasa mcm malas nak makan nasi..tu yg nampak cucur badak frosen bawak dr msia..terus goreng..bila rasa sikit sangat..nanti berebut pulak ngn Mr.Pinker..Cik Payung pun masak keropok ikan Tganu buat Miss pinky I & II...

Ikan Sardin Masak Sambal

A quite late to put entry for cooking corner today..almost past midday cik payung got strenghten to blogging..huhuhu..the first entry regarding gift to mummy aimee was schedule before..and here we come something simple dishes..Taali hunna..



Actually sardine fish i bought last few day to making laksa penang..But laksa penang's main ingredients i use ikan kembong plus half sardine inside container.To finish my stuff in refrigerator, i take out sardine to make curry sardine, but end up with masak sambal..hehehe

Ikan Sardin masak sambal
- 5/6 ekor ikan sardin
- 3 sudu cili blend
- 2 sudu cili boh - bawa dr msia
- sedikit asam jawa
- 1/2 cawan air
- garam dan gula
- 4 biji bawang merah
- 3 biji bawang putih

Caranya
 -Seperti biasa ikan dilumur garam dan kunyit.3 ekor ikan digoreng sederhana masak dan selebihnya goreng garing buat ikan goreng.Ketepikan.
- Bawang merah dan bawang putih di tumbuk.panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan tumbuk hingga naik bau.Masukkan cili blend dan cili boh ke dalam kuali.Tumis sehingga cili pecah minyak.Kemudian masukkan Air asam jawa sedikit, gula dan garam.Tunggu 2 minit padamkan api.Sedia untuk dihidang.

Gulai Kari King Fish

King fish???alamak..kat malaya tak tau pulak ikan ni nama apa..rasanya ikan tengiri kot..hehehe..nampak sangat tak beli ikan masa kat malaya kan...Memang pun..semenjak bermastautin kat negara orang ni la baru kenal periuk belanga..nak kata level pro belum lagi la..masih lagi belajar..seronok kan bila tengok anak dan suami makan masakan kita..Menu ni favourite Miss Pinky I..she love to eat very much till 3/4 plate one time..



Bahan2
- 3biji bawang merah di hiris
- 2 biji bawang putih dihiris
-2 tangkai daun kari
- 3 sudu rempah kari ikan adabi
- asam jawa
-1 sudu cili blend
- 1/2 tin santan
- 2 cawan air
- sedikit minyak
- garam utk rasa

Cara2nya.
terlebih dahulu lumurkan garam dan kunyit pada ikan dan goreng ikan tetapi jangan terlalu garing.Ketepikan.Panaskan minyak di dalam periuk.Tumiskan bawang merah, putih dan daun kari hingga  naik bau.Masukkan cili blend dan tunggu sehingga cili benar2 masak.Rempah kari terlebih dahulu di campurkan dgn sedikit air dan air asam jawa.Kemudian masukkan ke dalam periuk.Perlahan api.Kacau hingga kari masak.Masukkan santan bersama air ke dalam periuk.Kacau sekali sekala sehingga semua nya masak.Boleh letak bendi dan tomato jika suka.

Seri Muka versi Utara @ Pulut Serikaya

Haluuuu semuaaa...hari2 sabtu ni mesti ramai yg keluarkan..makan luar pun ia jugak..hari ni cik payung agak rajin sikit..buat seri muka versi orang utara ataupun ada yg panggil pulut serikaya..Biasanyakan seri muka warna hijau..tapi kali ni kita buat seri muka warna coklat pulak..bawah dia masih sama iaitu pulut..

Jom chek apa yg dah jadi arini...


alahai..rupanya kurang molek sikit..tapi rasanya sedap juga..tapi bagi cik payung seri muka warna hijau lebih kena dengan tekak ni...

Bahan2..
Lapisan Bawah
- 2 cawan pulut
- 2 1/2 cawan santan cair + sedikit garam
* pulut direndam 4 jam seelok2nya

Lapisan Atas
- 2 cawan santan pekat
- 1/2 cawan gula pasir
- 1/2 cawan gula merah
- 1/2 cawan tepung gandum
- 2sb tepung jagung
- 3 biji telur
- 1st garam

Cara Lapisan Bawah
- Basuh beras pulut dan rendam 4 jam sebelum masak.Kukus 20 miniy bersama santan dan garam.setelah masak tekan pulut supaya padat dan cantik.

Cara Lapisan Atas
- Masukkan semua bahan dalam mangkuk dan kacau rata.Tapiskan.Masakkan sekejap hingga naik wap.Tuangkan perlahan2 atas pulut tadi(lapisan bawah).Kukus lagi selama 20minit.Sejukkan dahulu baru potong.

Ayam masak kuning dgnbatang sawi


yg kat atas ni baru je dicipta dgn kaedah campak2 je apa yg ada dlm fridge..cik payung bgi nama ayam masak campor2..boleh gitu??hehehe..sebenarnya nak menghabis segala sayuran yg ada dalam fridge..takut nanti lama2 layu kat dalam tu dan terpaksa masuk dalm cik tong..kan ke rugi..

Bahan2
- ayam fillet di potong dadu
- sawi - ambil batang sahaja(daunnya simpan buat masak bihun)
- carrot - potong ikut suka
- cili kering - dipotong serong (cik payung guna bg menggantikan cili merah yg dah habis)
- 3 biji bawang merah-ditumbuk
- 2 biji bawang putih-ditumbuk
- 10 ekor ikan bilis
- minyak utk menumis
- garam secukup rasa

Cara2nya
-Terlebih dahulu ayam digaram kunyit dan masak (tidak perlu terlalu garing..)angkat dan ketepikan..kemudian tumis bawang merah dan bawang putih..apabila naik bau..masukkan ikan bilis..apabila semua sudah naik bau masukkan pula carrot, batang sawi, cili kering dan ayam..masukkan air jika terlalu kering..kemudian serasikan dgn garam.

Ayam Masak Merah

While cik payung driving from fetch up Miss Pinky I, i had received a phone call from Mr.Pinker..the 1st call Miss Pinky I has pickup the call and they talk about something..and after few minute, Mr Pinker call me up again..i thought it must be something urgent..He told me tonight we have to attend invitation from other malaysian...again???What should foodies we bring to??...Hmmm...all of sudden..tinggg..the mentol come out with idea...(that time i still heading to home)..

Taali Hunna..Ayam Masak Merah


Bahan2
- seekor ayam dipotong ikut suka
- 2 cawan cili blend
- air asam jawa
- 1 cawan air
- 5 ulas bawang merah*
- 4 ulas bawang putih*
- 1 inci halia*
- minyak utk menggoreng
- garam & gula secukup rasa

Cara2nya
- Ayam dilumur dgn garam & kunyit.Goreng separa masak ( tak perlu garing).Angkat dan ketepikan.
- Blend halus bawang merah,bawang putih dan halia.Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan blend hingga naik bau.Masukkan cili blend dan masak cili hingga pecah minyak.Masukkan ayam tadi.masak seketika..Boleh masukkan air supaya cili sedikit berkuah.Masukkan air asam jawa dan serasikan garam serta gula.

Ayam Paprik

Salam khanis semua...ehe...dah khamis la..cepatnya masa berlalu kan..esok dah boleh gedik2 santai..ngeee..Hari ni mood masak ada sikit2 je..jadi layan je la menu utk hari ni...



Kali ni kaedah memasak ada lain sikit..cilik dari internet..rasa dia tak menepati citarasa tekak cik payung sangat sbb kurang pedas...takpe..lain kali kita try yg lain ye..

Bahan2
- Ayam dipotong kecil
- 3 ulas bawang putih -diketuk
- 1 ulas bawang besar- dipotong baji
- 1/2 inci halia
- 1 batang serai - diketuk
- 2 sb sos tiram
- 2 sb sos cili

Cara2nya
-Panaskan minyak,tumis bawang putih,bawang besar, serai, halia, hingga naik bau.Masukkan ayam dan kacau hingga ayam bertukar menjadi putih.Masukkan semua sos dan daun limau purut yg dikoyak2an.Tambah air utk kuah.Masukkan semua sayur kecuali tomato lambat sedikit.Rasakan kuah dgn garam.masukkan tomato dan tepung jagung utk pekatkan kuah.

Popia Pisang vs pisang goreng


Aha..ni pun menu semalam...utk jamuan birthday party sorang kawan kat sini..dia jemput pun sehari sebelum tu..jadi mmg tak sempat nak masak dasyat2..*wah...mcm la teror sagt*..biasa pun yg sempoi2 je kan..:P

Mula2 cik payung buat popia pisang tu..dapatla dlm 20 ketul..mcm tak cukup pulak..nak membungkus kulit popia mcm leceh..so..bancuh je la tepung..buat pisang goreng..suka tetamu jumpa pisang goreng..maklumla..pisang goreng pun kategori mewah tau kat sini..

Popia Pisang
- sediakan kulit popia secukupnya
- pisang di belah 2..dan bahgiannya dipotong 2 lagi
- tepung jagung utk gam

Cara2nya
- ambil sehelai kulit popia..letakkan pisang di atasnya..bungkus dan kemaskan dgn tepung jagung yg dibancuhkan dgn air utk dijadikan gam..buat sampai habis.Panaskan minyak dalam kuali..goreng sehingga kulit popia kekuning2an..

Bubur nasi

Salam rabu semua..bukan apa..cik payung selalu lupa ari apa tau..maklum la dah lama tak bekerja dan sekolah..:P..bagus juga guna ayat macam tu ..atleast semua tau hari ni hari rabu kan..erkk..atau pun..cuma cik payung je ada sintom ni..

Bubur nasi ni cik payung buat style lain sikit..biasanya cik payung masak asing2..kali ni masak sup ayam dulu..lepas tu ayam keluarkan ..baru letak beras dalam sup..tapi kurang umpp la..sbb tak boleh nak hirup kuah banyak2..lepas tu letakkan ikan bilis,kacang goreng,bawang goreng,ayam yg telah dicarik2 dan cili kicap..menu lain kali bg ye..yg lebih ump sekali dgn ikan kering power rangers gantikan cili kicap..heheh

Pajeri Terung..

As cik payung mentioned yesterday, i planned to make a pajeri terung...the brinjal cik payung already bought at Carrefour last few day but always delay due to penyakit M dan sewaktu dgnnya.I love eat pajeri..i can't remember when lunch time (zaman kerja dulu) i stop at any hawker try to find pajeri terung..and eat together with nasi panas plus ikan kering..ermmm..what such a memory..




Bahan2
- 3 biji terung panjang
- 2 sudu empah kari ayam & daging adabi
- 2 sudu besar ikan kering
- 2 ulas bawang putih
- 5 ulas bawang merah
- minyak utk menumis
- 1sudu kerisik
- garam & gula secukup rasa

Caranya
-Blend bawang putih, bawang merah, udang kering.Gaul dengan rempah kari.Terung pula potong 2 tapi jgn sampai putus.
-Tumis bahan blend tadi dgn rempah kari hingga naik bau.Masukkan santan dan biar mendidih.
-Kemuadian masukkan terung,kerisik, gula dan garam.Masak hingga kuah pekat.

1. Carlos Slim (Mexico) - $74 billion, telecommunications

2. Bill Gates (USA) - $56 billion, Microsoft
Sensing the start of a personal computer revolution, Gates, 55, dropped out of Harvard University in 1975 to start Microsoft and pursue a vision of a computer on every desk and in every home. Microsoft went public in 1986 and by the next year, the soaring stock made Gates, at age 31, the youngest self-made billionaire.
In 2008 he stepped down from what is now the world's largest software firm to work at The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He has given $28 billion to it.
Together with his wife Melinda and Warren Buffett, he has also convinced 57 U.S. billionaires to sign up to the Giving Pledge and publicly vow to give away at least 50 percent of their fortune during their lifetime or upon their death.

3. Warren Buffett (USA) - $50 billion, Berkshire Hathaway
Buffett, 80, has run his Omaha, Nebraska-based conglomerate since 1965. Its interests run from railroads to ice cream.
In 2006 he pledged to give away 99 percent of his wealth to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and family charities. So far he has given $8 billion to the Gates Foundation.

4. Bernard Arnault (France) - $41 billion, LVMH
Arnault, 62, a friend of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, was educated at the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique and joined his father's construction company at 25. He earned the reputation of a ruthless corporate raider after pushing out shareholder rivals when he started building the LVMH group in the 1990s with the Louis Vuitton, Moet and Hennessy brands.
It is now the world's biggest luxury goods group. His image as a predator stuck to him afterward when he fought in vain to acquire Gucci in 1999 and 2000. Then this week he snapped up Roman jeweler Bulgari for $5.18 billion.

5. Larry Ellison (USA) - $39.5 billion, Oracle Corp
Ellison, the flamboyant Oracle founder and CEO, is known for his free, public outbursts against rivals such as German software maker SAP AG. The executive, supposedly a model for the "Iron Man" movie character Tony Stark, late last year attacked Hewlett Packard and its board for the abrupt and -- he said -- unfair sacking of longtime friend Mark Hurd. Ellison, who won yachting's America's Cup last year, is considered one of the "old guard" of Silicon Valley.

6. Lakshmi Mittal (India) - $31.1 billion, steel
London-based steel tycoon Mittal, 60, runs ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel manufacturer.
Mittal's firm is largely funding a $29 million spiraling red tower, designed by Turner prize-winning artist Anish Kapoor and taller than New York's Statue of Liberty, that will soar over London's Olympic Park for the 2012 games.
In 2005 he spent $10 million to promote sporting talent and encourage potential Olympians in his homeland after he was disappointed by India's lone medal at the Athens Games.

7. Amancio Ortega (Spain) - $31 billion, retail
Amancio Ortega, 74, started his clothing business in the 1960s making dressing gowns in his garage in La Coruna. His company Inditex owns the Zara fashion house and is now the world's biggest clothing retailer. Ortega closely guards his privacy and does not give media interviews. He announced in January that he plans to step down as chairman of the company.

A half-German college dropout who for years struggled to emerge from the shadow of his well-known father, Batista has long said he wants nothing less than to be Brazil's and the world's richest person. Everything about the 53-year-old -- from the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren sports car he keeps as decoration in his parlor to the "X" in the name of all his companies that represents wealth multiplication -- screams of unashamed ambition.

Malam tadi cik payung buat laksa penang..kes teringin punya pasal lepas tengok FB sorang kawan..dia post gambo je..sabo je la...Cik payung pun terus godek2 dapur cari bahan..

1/2 bungkus laksa -rebus bersama 5 keping asam keping
asam keping
timun - dihiris nipis
bawang besar dihiris nipis
cili dihiris nipis
5 ulas bawang merah*
8 ulas bawang putih*
1 inci halia *
serai dititik
2 sudu cili blend
1/2 tin ikan sardin - dihancurkan dan diperah air limau
limau nipis
garam
bunga kantan
daun kesum

Cara2nya
Terlebih dahulu rebus ikan bersama asam keping..Kemudian asingkan isi, tulang dan kepala ikan..Masukkan isi ikan kedlam blender.(cik payung guna lesung batu je sbb kuantiti sikit sgt)..Kemudian blend pula tulang,kepala ikan dan asam keping bersama air rebusan ikan tadi..
Tapiskan isi tulang kedalam periuk,isi ikan dan lebihan air rebusan.Masukkan bawang merah.bawang putih,halia yg telah diblend haluss ke dlam periuk.masukkan juga serai,daun kesum,bunga kantan dan ikan sardin yg telah dihancurkan.kacau diatas api sederhana sehingga mendidih..serasikan dgn garam..
Hidangkan kuah kedalam laksa.taburkan bawang besar,timub,cili.boleh juga letakkan telur rebus jika suka.

Earthquake and giant tsunami hits Japan on friday..

A giant earthquake 8.9 magnitude and a terrible tsunami attack Japan's eastern coast on friday.Its killed a hundred people and swept away boats, cars and homes..Lets us  pray hard to Allah to save our muslim friend from any danger..InsyaAllah..

And my heartfelt condolence to victim of japan who has lost their love one...May Allah gives them strength to overcome this situation..

Hari ni cik payung takde idealah nak masak2..ingat nak buat pajeri terung..tapi resepi pun tak cari lagi..aiyooo..Jom tengok apa yg cik payung masak utk ari ni...


Sayur campur
bahan2.
- kobis
- taugeh
- sawi
- tomato
- 3 biji bwng merah  - ditumbuk
- 2 biji bawang putih - ditumbuk
- 5 biji cili burung - ditumbuk
- segenggam ikan bili- ditumbuk

cara2nya..
-panaskan miyak terlebih dahulu.kemudian masukkan bahan yg ditumbuk..tunggu hingga naik bau..kemudian masukkan kobis, sawi,taugeh satu persatu..tambahkan air jika mahu berkuah..tunggu sehingga mendidih baru masukkan tomato.tutup kuali dgn penutup seketika.rasakan dgn garam.

- 3 ekor ikan kembong - goreng dahulu
- cili blend
- bawang merah
- air asam jawa

Cara2nya..
-panaskan minyak..masukkan separuh bawang merah yg dihiris  halus..apabila sudah layu.masukkan 3 sudu besar cili blend..tunggu hingga cili masak..kemudian masukkan beberapa ikan goreng..balik-balikan ikan supaya kena pada sambal..masukkan air asam jawa..serasikan dgn gula dan garam..

Ikan Bakar cicah kuah asam dgn mangga muda..

As cik payung mentioned just now, cik payung need route for cooking time right..very fast to make this  meal for lunch..while blogging..read news and Fbing..cik payung still can put fish into saucepan then grilled them..and  make kuah asam...

Taali hunna...



Bahan-bahan
- 5 ekor ikan kembong
- perencah ikan bakar jenama Adabi
- daun pisang

Bahan-bahan untuk kuah
- 1 biji mangga muda di hiris2 halus
- 1 biji tomato -dipotong dadu
- 5 biji cili burung-dihiris
- 1 biji bawang besar dipotong dadu
- setengah inci belacan (bakar dahulu)
- 1 sudu besar paste asam jawa
- 2 cawan air suam

cara2nya
Untuk ikan - masukkan sedikit perencah ikan bakar adabi kedlm perut ikan dan lumurkan sedikit pada bahagian badan ikan..kemudian balutkan dengan daun pisang.boleh juga gunakan aluminium foil untuk gantikan daun pisang..kemudian bakar ikan.
Untuk kuah pula-masukkan mangga muda,cili,tomato,bawang,belacan kedalam mangkuk..kemudian masukkan paste asam jawa bersama2 dgn air suam..gaul kesemuanya hingga mesra.

Ok..sedikit cerita pasal semalam jugak..sebelum cik payung kena bangun masuk oficial office aka dapur utk cooking time...yesterday, we all hangout at new place ie The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence at Dubai.The Walk is facing sea view and a plenty of restaurant along the premises area..so that we can cuci mata tgk minah saleh and minah arab pakai ala2 berkemban..haishhhh..

Perut pun dah lapar..ingat nak makan kat chili's restaurant tapi ramai sgt..baru perasan sebelahnya ada Chowking restaurant..alamak..cik payung teruja nak makan kat situ lagi..

Semalam cik payung tak sempat nak update blog sbb hari jumaat kan cuti2 sedunia buat kami satu family..Dalam malas2 memasak, kemas rumah dan buat laundry bagai..cik payung terbuat jugak breakfast dan masak bihun nak buat bekal jalan2 semalam..

Lepas je bangun dari tido..cik payung buat sandwich sardin..konon2 nak buat sandwich roll yg dah lama cik payung ambik dr blog periuk tanah..tapi..roti kat sini tak boleh digulung la..pecah2 kat tempat gulung tu..terpaksa la cik payung tukar buat 4 segi...hehehe..layan je la pict kat bawah..

- roti sandwich biasa

- minyak utk menggoreng

Bhn inti
- 1tin sardin
- 2 biji limau kasturi (ambil jus)Since kat sini takde limau kasturi cikpayung pakai je limau yg ada..
- 1 biji cili merah dicincang -optinal\
- 1 labu kecil bawang besar dicincang -optional

Caranya.
-Masukkan inti dlm mangkuk dan hancurkan dgn garfu.perahkan jus limau.safukan inti atas roti dan ambil satu lagi keping lekatkan diatas yg satu lagi..ambil gunting dan potong 4.Gamkan dgn telur yg telah dipukul.Kemudian, taburkan bread crumb diatasnya..Gorengkan dlam kuali leper hingga keemasan.Angkat dan hidang.

Living abroad cik payung need breathes and eats with the internet which is that wide area netwok connect to the world..Thanks to Mr.Etisalat where cik payung can share ideas,thought and news also gosiping..hehehe..

Unfortunatelly, cik payung can't surfing Mr.internet from woke up this morning util now especially Mr.FB..My body can shaking like fever if not enter Mr.FB..wakakaka...

Young working adults in Malaysia can now buy themselves a new home without having to pay anything in down payment.Those earning less than 3,000 ringgit (US$985) a month can obtain up to 100% financing to buy their first home under a new scheme launched by the government.

The My First Home Scheme, launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, will enable them to buy houses costing between 100,000 ringgit and 220,000 ringgit with a repayment period of up to 30 years.

The scheme sees the participation of 25 conventional and Islamic financial institutions including major banks like AmBank, CIMB, Hong Leong, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB and Standard Chartered.

To qualify for the scheme, which is for both houses under construction and completed properties, house buyers must be those working in the private sector and are confirmed employees with a minimum of six months in the job.

The self-employed do not qualify for the scheme while joint applications are allowed, provided that both are in the private sector and are family members, such as siblings or spouses.The monthly financing repayment sum must also be not more than one-third of the applicants' monthly gross income.However, this sum can go up to 50% of their income if additional credit is permitted under the banks' underwriting policy.

The Government through Cagamas Berhad -- a national mortgage corporation -- will bear the costs of the initial 10% deposit for the house while normal interest or profit rates for Islamic banks apply under the scheme.

The scheme does not cover refinancing of a home.
